Life was going pretty decent for me for about a year (for me thats an unbelievable improvment) but my lucky streak has returned an my whole life turned to shit in litterally a month......the worst of which is i put down Chard (my dog was almost as old as me an i considerd him my little brother so bite me if you look down on that.)

I have been doing shoots more regularly this summer then ever before, and i think im doing well....but im looking for posotive critisome.
I havent really been doing what i want to do, rather responding to what people show up dressed like, then themed shoots.

Hey, thanks for the comment on my stairway to heaven. for some reason it won't let me reply there.
I've looked through your photography and you have potential.
I think your biggest set back that you need to work on is lighting. working with the lighting you have, adjusting your camera setting to the lighting you have, and if you have a crappy day and anything less than a rebel xs digital - GET PHOTOSHOP!!! there is no substitute.

The one thing I love about Photoshop is even the WORST lighting shots can have amazing lighting if you go to
fliter:
render:
lighting effects
and input your own.

This will bump you miles ahead of where you are at the moment.
I would also suggest a photography magazine as they normally have tips to try each month for expanding on your understanding of subjects, lighting, texture, etc.
